Audio Lab AF privacy
Summary
Audio Lab AF does not collect any data. No account, no analytics, no tracking, no network connection. Your song stays on your Mac.
What stays on your Mac
When you open a song, the app analyzes it (tempo, key, time signature, structure, instruments) on your Mac, using Apple's on-device framework. Nothing about the song is sent anywhere.
Two small things get saved locally. The analysis results are cached in the app's sandbox folder, ~/Library/Containers/com.angryfacelabs.audiolabaf, so a song you open again loads faster. Your meter preference is stored in the app's preferences. Delete the app's container folder and both are gone.
If you save tags or bounce a master, the app writes only to the file or folder you pick.
Network
The app makes no network connections. It does not check for updates on its own, phone home, or load anything from the internet.
Third parties
None. There are no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking tools in the app, and no one else receives anything from it.
Children
The app collects nothing from anyone, children included.
